Daphne.png

Daphne Rivers - OCEAXE / GLEAMEIL / THIRE

Daphne’s grandfather introduced her to the piano at a young age, and from earliest memories, music became her voice. Bach and Beethoven were played equally alongside The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Motown standards in their household. Playing multiple instruments and singing in local bands paved the way for a career in music, until star gazing took precedence over song writing.

Winning a scholarship to study Astrophysics in the USA, Daphne put performing music on pause, but not her love for it. A chance meeting with legendary actor and producer, David Winters of West Side Story fame, saw her being encouraged and mentored to pursue the ARTS professionally.

An accomplished violinist, vocalist, actor and voice-over artist, Daphne is thrilled to be home after extensively touring, and extremely proud to be joining the cast of A Voyage To Arcturus.

From that first year Jerome has performed a range of roles and shows including The Mikado, Alice In Wonderland (BMSI), Shrek the Musical (AIPA), Starship Rob, The Red Planet (DRAMAC), In The Heights, Singin' In The Rain (Blackout Theatre Co.), FOUND! The Musical (Whimsical Productions), and Meet The Transylvanians (Glasshouse Productions).

Beyond his love of theatre Jerome aspires to perform in film and television as well as to write and produce his own scripts and music. Jerome is absolutely thrilled to be performing in another new musical and to be working with a lovely new cast. Jerome would also like to thank his family and friends for believing in him and their truly endless support without which things would be much harder.
